“And this is the promise that he promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you” (1John.2:25-26). The aged Apostle John, writing to believers, whom he calls “my little children,” repeatedly emphasizes that a believer will know that he knows. Now, here, he is warning us about antichrists and seducers, and he ensures that a true believer can always keep his eyes on the Truth. John was with Jesus when he taught “I am the Truth” (John.14:6), when he taught “the truth shall make you free” (John.8:32), and when he prayed, “sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John.17:17). Now he exhorts true believers in 3D: 1) “I have not written unto you because you know not the truth but because you know it” (vrs.21); 2) Truth got you saved, “Let that therefore abide in you which he have heard from the beginning” (vrs.24), 3) “You have an unction from the Holy One (it abides in you vrs.27) and you know all things” (vrs.20).

If you are born again, blood bought, “I am redeemed”, saved, then the Truth abides in you. You do not need a political fact checker; a godless, evolution promoting “science” advisor; a save the planet, global warming abatement plan; or a Dr. Fauci supposing “I Am Science!” Praise the Lord, God will keep the planet going just fine until it all burns with “fervent heat” (1Pet.3:10-12). You can stand on the Truth of his Word, and be an unequivocal science denier. The Truth is in you, you are the light of the world, let your light so shine before men.
