On Monday, October 17 we will be performing system maintenance on your VPS.

As part of this maintenance, the operating system on your VPS will be upgraded from Debian buster to Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04.

In most cases, no action is required on your part..

Our server logs indicate that you are managing your DNS through a third party.

Your VPS's IP address *will change* as a result of this upgrade, so you will need to provide that new IP to your DNS provider once this upgrade has been completed.

This upgrade may incur a brief period of downtime (no more than 10 minutes) for a small subset of customers, however for most customers the upgrade process will be invisible. We will follow up again with an email a week from now once the process has been completed.

Note: I will try and remember to change the nameservers on 10/16/22 so that the IP address change will not affect access to the website, and switch it back when the maintenance is complete.
