Carmel Gospel Missions was founded as the result of much prayer and a God-given vision to reach the unsaved with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Started in Kamavarapukota, (A.P. India), in 2006, the mission is registered ( Number 373/08) as a charitable organization. Carmel Gospel Missions is a Faith - based, Independent Baptist Church, Bible-believing, Christ-centered, Missionary work. Mission: Continuing The Work of Jesus Christ Peacefully Simply together and reaching People For Christ to change the lives of the people to a meaningful life by sharing and demonstrating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Vision:
Our vision is to see our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified through the preaching of His Gospel. Pastor Moses Dirisena is the Founder & President of Carmel Gospel Missions. He and his Wife Shalom, have two daughters Monika & Mercy.
Pastor Moses graduated with a B.A., in India, and had his professional studies in Computers. He Worked as a Computer Programmer before being called into full time Christian Service. In 1999 in obedience to God's call, he left his secular job and was ordained to the Gospel Ministry.
In addition to being the Pastor of a local church in Kamavarapu Kota, Moses and his wife are active in several ministries including: Church Planting & Soul Winning, Evangelism in Rural & Tribal areas, Organizing and conducting Crusades, Pastor and Leadership Seminars, Orphaned Children, HIV-AIDS Children, Lepers Colony ministry.
