Msg #2333 In the Beginning God, Day 1

What The Bible Says

Good Samaritan's Penny Pulpit by Pastor Ed Rice

Believing in the Bible's verbal inspiration, inerrancy, and infallibility requires believing God's account of his six-day creation and the seventh day of rest. Accepting any minute shred of man's evolutionary hypothesis requires that God's Holy Word is somehow deceptive. On Sunday, the first day of this universe's existence, God created, out of nothing, a finite time, space, and matter continuum. He carefully words that in the first sentence of the Holy Bible. All three continua have three dimensions, are inner dependent, and must coexist. The “earth” or “dirt” was not a planet, it was without form. He also reveals that this “matter” was void of all visible construct, massive, and dark, in his second sentence. The formless, void, dark, mass of matter, takes on form, i.e. hydrogen atoms clinging to oxygen atoms with covalent bonds of energy, when “the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

In the third verse of the Holy Bible the dark lifeless mass of created matter bursts with newly created energy spanning a visible spectrum in colors of Red, orange, yellow; Green; Blue, indigo, and violet, in wavelengths of 400 to 700 nanometers, but also extending deep into infrared, microwave, and radio waves, and far into ultraviolet, X-ray, and Gamma ray electromagnetic radiation. It seems that all seven of these categories of electromagnetic radiation were created when God said, “Let there be light.”

There is no room for artificial gaps in God's accounting here, nor for fictional millions of years. God clearly clarifies in verse 4 and 5 that there was soon to be, coming up on Tuesday in fact, an evening and a morning, and that this here was only the first day of his creation. We can hardly wait to see his Monday's verbally inspired accounting in our next week's lesson.
