In James chapter 5, we read that Elijah was a man of like passions ( a man with a nature like ours ), an ordinary man who prayed & prayed earnestly & God heard his prayers & withheld the rain for 3 & half years. He prayed again & God gave the rain.

You might say “ But that was the great prophet who faced hundreds of false prophets on Mount Carmel. I’m just an ordinary person. How could I ever make an impact in this world? “. Remember, it says Elijah was an ordinary man. In fact, all of us are ordinary people. But when ORDINARY PEOPLE do some EXTRAORDINARY PRAYING God works mightily.

We are facing some great challenges today: the 2020 election ( probably the most important election in my lifetime); the pandemic; the constant Satanic attacks on the churches; & etc. We desperately need all of us who are ORDINARY PEOPLE TO DO SOME EXTRAORDINARY PRAYING!

In this same passage in James, it says that the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. When ORDINARY PEOPLE DO SOME EXTRAORDINARY PRAYING, God begins to work. When God steps into the situation, no matter what it is, it changes everything.

This is a call to all of you ordinary folks like me & Judy to purpose to pray earnestly & fervently every day for our country & each other. We serve a great & mighty God who can do anything.
