It has been nearly eight months since 15 year old Ami Ortiz was almost killed by an explosion while opening an innocent looking Purim basket on March 20th, however no arrests have been made despite the fact that the Ariel police have months of surveillance tapes and a considerable amount of evidence in their possession.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalms 46:1 Too often in these days of uncertainty people have a habit of turning to the news and current affairs for comfort and answers. The bad thing about this method is that the place we are looking to ...
Listen to this sermon here. Reader’s Digest is not the place I go to looking for theological answers, but I came across one of their articles that caught my attention. It reads as follows, “A pastor began his Sunday morning sermon by saying, ‘I’d like to make three points today. First, there are millions [...]
I am calling on everyone to attend this Sunday, and if possible Saturday night. In this economic time of uncertainty, we have an opportunity to get sound financial teaching and preaching for free! I am looking forward to this with great anticipation- if you plan to attend Saturday night, and have not already notified me of that, please do so asap. Also, while the sessions begin at 7pm Sat, you may come at 6pm for pizza and pop. ($3 per person) Please call to notify please. Of course, after the morning service, we will have a pot luck dinner, then afternoon sessions for anyone who would like to stay. There will be no evening service this Sunday night. I look forward to a full house Sunday!
Sunday services at Heartland were very good. The attendance in the morning was such that the main room was nearly full. Sunday night was very well attended, with a special treat with Bro. Watson adding his guitar to our congregational music. During the last two days, several of our folks have been attending the preaching conference in Canton, IL with the Gray Brothers. I had jury duty up until last night and worked tonight, so I could not go. I am looking forward to getting the cd's for sure. Tomorrow night is Bible study. Sure hope to see you then.
It has been a long but very productive day, yet much to be done tomorrow before Bible study. I am looking forward to a great time in church tomorrow night. See you then.
I have not been home but a few minutes since around 8am today. Had jury duty today, then worked my other job tonight. I did speak to Bro. Weaver this afternoon and am looking forward to having he and his family with us tomorrow night- see you then.
We had a great Bible study and prayer time tonight. We were blessed to have Helzerman family (missionaries to Papau New Guinea) with us in our service. The Bible study was back to the life of Christ series, of which we studied the sermon on the mount. Looking forward to Sunday!
Please consider joining us at the Church for our New Years’ Eve dinner and service. Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m., then we’ll have some games, a film and a brief service, thanking God for bringing us through 2008 and looking for His guiding in 2009. We plan to end around 9:00 p.m. What [...]
