What The Bible Says

Good Samaritan’s Penny Pulpit by Pastor Ed Rice

The Bible’s New Testament calls out a dozen new things that Jesus revealed to the apostles; these being, “The revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret, since the world began, but now was made manifest… And made known to all nations for the obedience of faith” (Rom.16:25–26). In Ephesians 3 the Apostle Paul describes this present “dispensation of the grace of God” whereby “the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel” (Eph.3:1–6). This miraculous unity of both Jew and Gentile into one body, the church, is set in place that in the next dispensation, “the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ” (Eph.1:9–10). Catholics, Roman or Orthodox, Protestant or of-England, never believed, understood, or taught Bible dispensations to their people. They error greatly, not knowing the Scripture; it is left as an exercise for the sincere Bible student to learn them.

But wait, there’s more; Ephesians reveals that the non-Catholic, born-again-saved church of the Lord, will soon be The Bride of Christ;“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church” (Eph.5:30-32). One could therein say, “It is not good that Christ should be alone, I will make an help meet for him.” Christ will soon be married to his church. He will come back to take His Bride, don’t miss the wedding. It will happen in a moment, in the twinkling of the eye: It is the next tick on Bible Prophecy’s time clock.
