Okay folks… this conversion is very labor intensive. I do not have the time to do this, I have to devote the majority of my time in support of our missionary work now. This database is hosted on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) costing a lot of money. While the money itself is not an issue (God has always and will continue to supply), but couple this with my current time constraints and the fact that the VPS keeps failing (could be external attacks, or the server itself) regularly, and the fact that the listings are failing (broken links, closed ministries, name changes etc.) in record numbers. I feel I have no choice but to stop supporting this platform. I am praying about moving all the content (without the ministry listings) over to a website that has been neglected now for years (baptist.org). This is still a matter of prayer. I have attempted to form a partnership with several existing Baptist directories, but everyone seems to just want to do their own thing. So – I am praying about it, and will start moving content and redesigning baptist.org as time allows. I am wide open to suggestions. Feel free to email me suggestions to [email protected].
