We are a congregation of 30-35 saints. We are an independent, fundamental KJV church that still uses the hymnal, and our music is conservative. The church is Bible-believing, preaching God's Word, not man's opinion. KJV only. Friendly church, fundamental, independent, traditional music, missionary-minded using Faith Promise Missions supporting 17 missionaries. The diverse congregation seeks to reach all people. Excellent facilities, debt free.
The church is in a lower-income area of South Norfolk in Chesapeake, VA. We have an active weekly visitation program and run one of our two church vans for all services. We operate a graded Sunday School, a children's church, and a Wednesday night children's Bible Club. We offer a salary for the pastor, but it might not be sufficient, and you might consider supplementing your income by other means.
We have an active mission program supporting 17 missionaries and 4 missionary projects. Please include in your resume a statement of your salvation, a brief doctrinal statement, a website to see you and hear you preach, a current family picture, and at least four references.
