ABOUT US:
At Calvary Baptist Church, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive local church environment where individuals can grow in their love for the Lord and others. Our mission is to help young and old people know and make known the Christ of Calvary. Additionally, we want to teach and lead believers to serve the Christ of Calvary in the local church and our community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and Develop Youth Programs: Organize and oversee weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and special events to engage and inspire students in grades K-12.
Spiritual Guidance: Provide counseling and mentorship to youth, helping them navigate their faith journey and personal challenges.
Community Outreach: Engage with unchurched youth in the community, sharing the gospel and inviting them to participate in church activities.
Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and support a team of dedicated volunteers to assist with student ministry programs.
Collaboration: Work closely with church staff and leadership to align student ministry goals with the church's overall mission.
Event Planning: Organize retreats, mission trips, and other events that promote spiritual growth and evangelism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Divinity, Theology, Youth Ministry, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in youth ministry or a related field, with a strong understanding of Biblical principles.
Skills: Excellent communication and public speaking skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to connect with middle and high school students.
