Newark Baptist Temple is prayerfully seeking a full-time assistant pastor for primary emphasis with youth. Our Sunday morning attendance averages about 180. Ministries include Sunday school, three weekly services, an addictions recovery and discipleship ministry, monthly ladies Bible study, soul winning, bus ministry, and Licking County Christian Academy. The youth pastor will teach/preach to teens at least twice each week, plan periodic youth activities and outreaches, lead youth at summer camp, assist the senior pastor with administrative tasks, teach junior high Bible in the Christian school, and preach periodically in weekly chapels. Depending upon his aptitude, the assistant pastor may also assist with music ministry. This is a fulltime position. The church does pay a livable wage.
