Bible Baptist Church in Marionville, Missouri is seeking a bi-vocational Associate Pastor of Youth and Music. This is a broad-spectrum youth ministry ranging from 5yrs-18yrs. The successful candidate must be in full agreement with the church’s Statement of Faith. The candidate will answer to the pastor and work towards having oversight over all of our youth ministries including Sunday Schools, Wednesday night kids club, camps, VBS, teen ministries and any other youth-focused activities. Under the pastor’s approval, the successful candidate will have liberty to develop these ministries with the goal being to win souls and build relationships with the families within his ministry and adding them to the church. This ministry will require a pastor’s heart for young people and their families and a dedication to hard work.
As for the music aspect, we are traditional in our worship and primarily use a hymnal. We believe music plays an integral part in worship and should not reflect any secular standards. The candidate will oversee the entire music program of the church, lead congregation and church choirs, select and approve music, and organize and plan special programs
While a small salary will be provided, the candidate should be self-supported or bi-vocational. The southwest Missouri region has ample medical, manufacturing, warehouse, and retail employment opportunities and boasts a less-than-average cost of living.
