LifePoint Baptist Church in Portage, Indiana is prayerfully seeking Gods will for a pastor. Their current Pastor is going back to the mission field. They are searching for a man with a pastor’s heart, that loves to study and preach the Word of God, has a burden for souls, will help care for the membership, and has a desire to reach the community and world for Christ.
The Church building is on 3 acres, and is debt free. The roofs and siding of the facilities are 3 years new. The buildings consist of an auditorium that has been renovated, a large fellowship hall, and several classrooms. The Church also has a 2013 E450 Shuttle.
The Church is an independent, Bible-based, Missions-minded, Baptist Church that uses the King James exclusively, and Praises the Lord in song by singing Hymns and spiritual songs. They support 13 missionaries by Faith Promise Giving. The Sunday morning attendance is around 50, with a mixture of different ages. The service times consist of a Sunday 10am Bible class hour, 11am and 6pm worship hour, and a Wednesday 7pm prayer and Bible Study, as well as Patch Club.
The Church has a desire to grow under the leadership of the next Pastor. The position will include a salary which may be considered full-time depending upon the needs of the incoming Pastor.
