Lahaina Hawaii (HI)

Large wildfires in Maui, Hawaii, have resulted in the deaths of 55 people so far and extensive damage in the historic town of Lahaina.

A wildfire on the Hawaiian island of Maui has claimed the lives of 36 people and left a path of destruction in its wake. Firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.

As of Sunday night, the Maui, Hawaii, wildfire had claimed the lives of 96 people.
