Bro. Rick Kelley baptized Brandon Schacher at Matapang Beach at our back to back service last month. FBC went down to Sis. Frances’ family beach property by the Holiday Resort in Tumon to enjoy fellowship, food, and a devotion by Pastor Jay Aarseth.

We celebrated the closing of Master Club for the school year 2008-2009 with a pizza party. We also said goodbye to Bro. Larry and Sis. Laura Goltiao as they will be relocating to the states in July. Bro. Rommel and Sis. Rose and their children are relocating to North Carolina. We miss you already.
Thanks to Bro. Simon Peter Yogontay and materials assistant  Bro. Cutright for their work in the office side. The post that has been cracked and held together by tape is now fixed and the hole left by the a/c is no longer there.

This year’s Couples Retreat was held at the Guam Reef Hotel. Bro. Rick Kelley was the guest speaker this year. He preached from God’s word about the Commitment, Communication, and Conflict Resolution of a marriage. We heard it was a great time around God’s word, games, and food. FBC went out to Yigo and Dededo on Saturday morning, Jan. 17, 2009, to pass out tracts, share God’s word, and invite people to church. Praise the Lord for the visitor that came to church the next day as a result of this outreach.
