|Just two days ago I posted the article The Coming Destruction of America where I pointed out that the cause of America's greatness politically, economically, militarilly and in every other way is due to our nation's relationship to Israel and to rightouesness. The more we strengthen those two relationships and work as a nation to exalt and defend both Israel and righteousness then the more our nation will be blessed by God. Our nation's strength comes from our nation's rightouesness. |
Yet our newly elected president seems to believe that exactly the opposite is true. In fact, let me quote a few of his recent remarks on this subject so that you can try to wrap your mind around the wickedness that this man is spewing to the world. "One of the great strengths of the United States," the President said, "is ... we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values." That is one of our strengths?
The defining characteristic that is going to bring this nation to it's knees is the simple fact that we are no longer a Christian nation. As long as that fact remains, our nation will only decline just as the once great Roman Empire did. Just as in 386 AD when the Romans allowed a non-Roman to sit on their thrown, we will allow a non-patriot, a non-lover of liberty, a tyrant to reside in the White House. Some speculate that that day has already arrived. May the Lord help us.
As Christians, we should grasp this truth and work to spread it like a great wild fire. America's strength can be measured by it's level of righteousness...by the remnant of Christians who are exalting Christ. Yet as that very thing declines in America and our nation begins to fill with Muslims, Buddhists, Confusionists, and many other cults, our Satanically inspired leader claims that our nation grows stronger.
There is no national security outside of God's grace. As we turn our back on God will we will face the same things that Israel faced in the Old Testament. God sent prophet after prophet begging those people to turn back to Him. Finally after years of warnings He sent a great flood. Finally after years of warnings He sent the Babylonians to enslave them.Â
We have already sped past the point that those Israelites were at during those times in their history. Why God has not already poured out a thick helping of his wrath upon the wickedness of our nation is beyond my understanding. But if something is not done soon, God will turn his loving hand of grace away from us. Our nation can only spit in his face for so long before he decides to turn off the spout where the blessings come out.Â
So Mr. President, is our strength in the fact that we are not a Christian nation? Hopefully these readers will know better than to believe you.
