This category indicates that the ministry appears to have ceased its operation. Some of the means we have determined ministries have shut their doors are:

• A person answered the phone and indicated the ministry has closed.

One or more of the following (usually several):

• Phone is disconnected/ministry has no phone.
• Website is gone (or ministry does not have website)
• Facebook page has not been updated in several years
• Google, Yelp, Yellow Pages etc indicate ministry is permanently closed.
• Address is now home to another ministry.
• Publication online indicates ministry is has shut its doors.

I am now leaving churches listed, but removing their addresses so they will not show up in geographical searches, along with latest date and status we have (since they may still be listed on other church lists as active). Non church ministries are simply removed from the database.

If you find a ministry listed a Disbanded that is not, please submit an error report and I will correct the listing.
