Home to a large commercial fishing fleet, it is adjacent to the ocean entrance to Coos Bay on the Pacific Ocean/ We are an independent Baptist Church and are not associated with any church group. In love for Jesus Christ and to bring glory to His name, we are a Bible-believing, conservative church that avoids modern liberalism.
We worship God with traditional hymns and choruses, with piano accompaniment (no drums or electric guitars), and we use the King James Bible.. The members of this church are determined to follow a Godly leader who is focused on doing the work of God by His standards.
We conduct church business through a church council and by congregational rule (no boards).
This church owns its building, separate fellowship hall, and onsite Parsonage. We are debt free. Must preach the Bible and stand firm on Bible doctrine with the ability to teach. By this, the pastor will be expected to agree with and consent to abide by our Constitution and Statement of Faith, which can be provided upon request.
Must be Baptist by background and conviction. We expect our leadership to be by a godly pastor, with a good testimony in life and conduct, according to 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
Compensation: Negotiable, plus Parsonage & Utilities paid. Please provide a Resume & audio or video of a sermon. A small town of 800 souls, in a county of 65,000 souls, 120 miles southwest of Eugene Oregon.
