Christian cynicism is believing that government is motivated by self/diabolic interest, with a sneering distrust of her sincerity; supposing rather, she has discarded honest standards to achieve evil, godless, diabolical interests. Sadly, of this Fourth-of-July, a Bible believer can be no less. When our president whines, “We cannot fix inflation in a day!”, and one can justly retort, “Why not you did an election!”, we are in an evil place. The Bible says, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,” yet with brazen wholesale deceit government says, “No mask – No Service”, and then “No vax – No Service”, and sets the stage for soon (post-rapture) saying, “No mark of the beast – No Service.” A Bible believer has keen insight to that larger picture. “Nor standeth in the way of sinners,” and yet government brazenly leads in the way of queer perversion and sodomy. “Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful,” and yet the Holy Bible, banned from government K-12 classrooms because it says, “In the beginning God created …” is brazenly scorned by our government. This 2022 Fourth-of-July being cynical is the very least believers might be toward leaders pushing for a Marxist, socialist takeover of America. America is but a hair's breadth from toppling into godless communism, and God could justifiably let her fall. In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the USA is indeed part of “all nations”; “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; … and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat” (Zec.14:2, Joe.3:2). In His Kingdom, just after Armageddon, “All kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him. … and shall call him blessed. … Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations” (Ps.72:11,17, 82:8).
