It’s Wednesday, November 4th. I have not watched the news, or turned on the radio, or talked to anyone on the phone. I got so sleepy that I went onto bed last night. I don’t know what the election results were. 
But it’s Wednesday & the sun is shining. It’s Wednesday & that 1st cup of coffee tasted so good, & God’s Word stirred & blessed my soul this morning. It’s Wednesday & Thanksgiving is just around the corner. 
It’s Wednesday & our great, wonderful God is still on the throne & in complete control of this world. It’s Wednesday & I still have that sweet assurance that I am a child of God, that my sins are forgiven, & that He will never leave me or forsake me. It’s Wednesday and God’s Word is still true, & His promises will not fail. It’s Wednesday & I can still trust in the Lord with all my heart, & lean not on my own understanding. It’s Wednesday & I can know God loves me. Yes me! Even though I don’t deserve His love or mercy or grace. 
Yes, it’s Wednesday & I want to give the Lord thanks & praise. Whatever happened last night or whatever happens today, I’m in “ good hands “! My life & future are in the Lord’s hands.
