“Armageddon” is a Hebrew word heard by most everyone, but the enormity of “the Battle of Armageddon” dominates Biblical prophecy initiating the soon coming “Day of the LORD.” Perched in the last of the last days every born-again, blood bought believer in the Lord Jesus Christ should be well versed in that upcoming Day, and be using the world's limited knowledge of the Hebrew word to lift up, worship, and witness about the saving power of Jesus Christ. “The Day of the LORD” is not off on a distant horizon, believers know it, the world knows it, and Satan knows it. “For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen,... Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand,... The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem... then shall Jerusalem be holy“ (Obd 1:15, Joel 2:1,2,3:16,17).

The Bible says that all nations will gather against Israel to annihilate the Jews, and the Lord Jesus Christ will step in. “I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,... Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations,... And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley;... And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” (Joel 3:2, Zech 14:3,4, Rev 16:16). While salvation is still available we should preach John 3:16-18 and 5:24, to every creature we can reach.
