Pastor John Lindell of James River Church in Missouri apologized to his congregation Sunday for inviting professional sword swallower Alex Magala and Pastor Mark Driscoll to the church's Stronger Men's Conference after a firestorm erupted over Driscoll's controversial rebuke of Magala's performance as demonic.

While expressing appreciation for Pastor John Lindell's full-throated attempt at portraying him as a bonafide born-again Christian and family man, professional sword swallower Alex Magala, whose recent performance at James River Church's Stronger Men's Conference in Missouri was criticized as demonic by Pastor Mark Driscoll, says he has no kids and did not get saved 10 years ago.

James River Church Pastor John Lindell accused Pastor Mark Driscoll of attempting to overthrow him as the leader of his church and dividing his family and congregation by unfairly attacking a performance by a professional sword swallower and admitted male stripper at the Stronger Men's Conference in Missouri.

Alex Magala, the aerial sword-swallower and acrobat who admitted he stripped for gay men and women as a younger man, says he is Christian and called Pastor Mark Driscoll's recent criticism of his performance at James River Church's Stronger Men's Conference in Missouri, an "uninformed" position.

Mark Driscoll has been forced to defend himself after he was temporarily asked to leave the stage during James River Church's Stronger Men's Conference in Missouri for calling a performance by an aerial sword swallower and admitted male stripper, which opened the conference, “the Jezebel spirit.”
