In 2015, the members of Saltpetre Christian Baptist Church prayerfully decided to forgo its association with the Christian Baptist organization to become the Saltpetre Community Church, a non-denominational, autonomous, community Church. Saltpetre Community Church is still located within a stone’s throw of its original location. The current building that was built in the early 2000’s has a seating capacity of 400, full kitchen and fellowship hall and multiple rooms for Sunday school and Christian training.
