God gave Ezekiel a very pointed lesson about a watchman who had blood on his hands because he failed to sound an alarm when trouble was coming (Ezek33). “So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.... If thou doest not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand” (33:7-8). In Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Acts Christians have a commission to preach the gospel to every creature. Every Christian has a personal testimony of the day that they got saved-born-again-converted to Christ. You can tell someone what happened that day, what you did, and what he did. Then quote John3:16-18 and 36. Throw in 5:24 and the verses of the Romans Road to Heaven (3:10,23, 5:8,12,18-19, 6:23, 10:9-10,13) and you could be the one spoken of in Daniel 12:3, “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” or Proverbs11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life and he that winneth souls is wise.” or Psalm126:6, “He that goeth forth and weepeth bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” Why? “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ;...Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;... For the love of Christ constraineth us...” (2Cor5:10,11,14). Don't just sit there, get some 3x5 cards and get memorizing. And remember it is not your persuasion, it is his quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword Scriptures that change lives.
