Two Old Churches & One New Name...
On March 31, 2019, the Lighthouse Baptist Church of Columbus, and the Victory Heights Baptist Church of Columbus, voted to merge and become Community Baptist Church of Columbus, GA.  Lighthouse has a rich history of ministry and outreach since 1981, and Victory Heights also since 1949.  Therefore, two great heritages have become one.

 Dr. Marty O. Wynn has served as pastor of Lighthouse since November 1991.  He is now the pastor of the merged church that is now Community Baptist. The new name is COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCH.  We are excited about what lies ahead.  We believe the Lord has great plans in store for CBC.  Please join us in prayer as we move forward as a united church family with a great new vision of what God will do.  May our Savior's name be praised and glorified!
