Freemasonry is just one more way the Devil has of confusing people so they won't receive Jesus Christ as Saviour.  Most people today think Masonry is just a good, benevolent organization that has good moral teachings.  That is about as far from the truth as you can get.  In the first place, Masonry is not just a benevolent organization, it's mainly a religion.  For proof, see the Encyclopedia of Freemasonry by Dr. Albert G. Mackey, a Past High Priest and Secretary General of the Supreme Council 33rd for the Jurisdiction of the United States.  On page 594 it says, "Freemasonry is a religious institution."  Page 641 says, "The religion of Masonry is non-sectarian."  If you still don't believe it, go to the library and look it up. The reason most of you that are Christians are in the Masons is that you took someone's word for what Masonry is instead of reading the material for yourself and checking it out with the Bible.

When I entered Freemasonry, I was given a Bahnson Manual and three books by Carl H. Claudy.  I was initiated May 15, 1972; passed July 10, 1972; raised August 19, 1972, at the Mt. Holly, North Carolina Lodge No. 543 A.F. & A.M.  I was too lazy to read the books and if I had read them I didn't know enough Bible at that time to know whether there was anything wrong.

After I rededicated my life to the Lord, He showed me through His word and the writings of some Bible believing Christians that Masonry was wrong, so I demitted out of the Lodge.

Now, if you are saved, you should be worshipping the Lord and Him only, Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

If you are a lodge member reading this, who or what are you worshipping? 
The lodges have prayers. John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Do all the prayers in your lodge end in "Jesus Name"?

The lodges have a Worshipful Master Matthew 23:10  Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Do you think calling someone "Worshipful Master" is alright with the God of the bible?

The lodges have an altar at which you kneel before the Worshipful Master when you are initiated Acts 10:25-26 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man. Do you think the Lord that saved you was pleased with you knelt at a man's feet when you were initated?

You laid your hand on a Bible, but the devil uses the Bible,Matthew 4:6 ... it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee ...

You then swore on the bible and you repeated a bloody, blasphemous oath and kissed the Bible Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

The Bible is used throughout the three degrees of Masonry, but Jesus Christ is never mentioned. John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now, if you would be honest, you should see that at the lodges you are worshipping "the god of this world" (II Corinthians 4:4).  As a matter of fact, Albert Pike 
(Sovereign Pontiff of Universal Freemasonry) said, "The Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian 
Doctrine."  He also said, "But Lucifer, God of light and God of good, is struggling for humanity against Adonay."  (Adonay is a Hebrew transliteration for Lord, the God of Christians, whom Pike then calls "the God of Darkness and Evil.")  The above statement comes from Occult Theocracy, pages 220, 221, by Lady Queenborough published by the Christian Book Club of America, Hawthorne, California 90250.

Now, I want to ask you something.  How can you stay in an organization like the Masons?  Ephesians 5:11 says, And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.  See also II Corinthians 6:17.

But, you say, "I'm bound to the Masons by the oaths I took." Well, I John 1:9 is still in the Bible. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I took the same bloody, blasphemous oaths you took, but I asked the Lord to forgive me and release me and He did. It does not bother me now one bit to tell you what I think of Freemasonry.  My sins are forgiven.  What about yours?
