Introduction: The Seventh Day Adventist cult began in the early part of the 1800s with William Miller a former Baptist and an associate, Joshua V. Hines a minister in the "Christian Church". Miller started preaching in 1831, but didn't have much of an impact until 1839 when they started getting people from mostly protestant churches.

In the Spring of 1844, the Millerites started using the term "Adventists" to identify themselves. They set a date for the Lord's coming by the Gregorian calendar at March 21, 1944, when it didn't happen, they set another one for October 22, 1844. Because neither date was correct, many left the movement and started splinter groups, some of which are, Advent Christian Church organized in 1861; Church of God (Abrahamic faith); Life and Advent Union organized in 1863 and Seventh-Day Adventist organized in 1863 which has grown into the largest of those cults.

Ellen G. White 1827-1915 was also connected to the "Adventists". She had all kinds of visions one of which is what started their Sabbath worshiping.  She started reading a tract by Joseph Bates, called "Seventh-day Sabbath". On April 3, 1847 Mrs. White was had a vision about the Ark being up in Heaven with the 10 Commandments in it with a halo of light around the fourth commandment. This caused her and the Adventist to start their heretical doctrine of Sabbath keeping. A doctor named William Russell who was a chief physician in the Seventh-Day Adventist Sanatorium and also a Dr. Fairfield both Seventh Day Adventists said that Mrs. White's visions were the result of a "diseased organization or condition of the brain or nervous system”.  They also said that her visions were just hysterical trances.

If you are a King James bible believer and reading this, you know that it was just the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not ...) and she received another spirit and preached another Jesus. (2 Cor. 11:4). Their main "converts" usually come from people that were in cold dead churches that hadn't been taught any of the main doctrines in the bible.

The main publications of this cult comes from "The Review and Herald Publishing Co." in Washington, DC. Their most popular book is called, "Bible Readings For The Home" which have been sold to gullible people all over this country. This book teaches many blasphemous doctrines of devils.

Below are a few of the major heresies of the Adventists corrected by the Authorized King James Bible.

1. The Seventh Day Adventist believes worshiping on Sunday is the mark of the beast, the following is from http://www.aloha.net/~mikesch/seal.htm

"To sum up, the seal of God will be on those who keep the commandments of God as God wrote them, with particular emphasis on keeping the seventh-day sabbath, Saturday. The mark of the beast will be on those who follow the commandments of men (the Pope) and worship on a counterfeit man made day of rest, Sunday, the first day of the week. Neither have anything to do with an actual physical mark or seal."

But the bible says: 
a. Christians meet on the first day of the week to worship instead of Saturday. 
Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

1 Corinthians 16:1-2 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

b. Christians met on the first day of the week because Jesus Christ rose on the first day. 
Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.

c. The first day was instituted before the Sabbath. 
Exodus 12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

d. The mark of the beast is plainly a literal mark of some kind on the hand or forehead and has nothing to do with Saturday or Sunday worship. 
Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. (NOTE: you can't get Sunday upon you!)

2. The Seventh Day Adventist uses Romans 4:11 to say that a "sign" and a "seal" are the same. Quote: "the sign of circumcision is also a seal of righteousness. A sign and a seal are synonymous." Unquote. 
Now surely if you can read 5th grade English, you can see that the "sign" is one thing and a "seal" is something completely different. A jar of strawberry preserves can be sealed and not be a sign.

a. In the first place Israel started with signs: 
Exodus 4:8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. (This is the first time the word "sign" is in the bible and it is at the beginning of Israel as a nation.) 
The signs Moses saw were: 
1. His rod became a snake and was turned back into a rod. 
2. His hand became leprous and was healed.

b. Since Israel started with signs, let's see if the Sabbath is a sign. 
Exodus 31:13  Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; 
Ezekiel 20:12  Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, 
Ezekiel 20:20  And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you,

Question: Who's talking in the above verses? Answer: Jehovah God! 
Question: Who's He talking to? Answer: Israel! 
Question: Where in the bible does Jehovah God ever give the sign of the sabbath to a Gentile or to a N.T. Christian? Answer: It's NOT in the bible because a Christian isn't looking for a sign, we're to live by faith. The Jew is the only people that require a sign. 1 Corinthians 1:22 For the Jews require a sign ...

c. The sign of the Sabbath was unknown to everyone in the book of Genesis for more than 2000 years because it wasn't revealed until Moses got the 10 commandments on Mount Sinai. 
Nehemiah 9:14 And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant: 
Question: When did Moses find out about the Sabbath? Answer: About 1500 BC on Mount Sinai when he got the 10 commandments.

d. The Sabbath was for Israel, but has been done away with for the N.T. Christian. 
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 
2 Corinthians 3:6-11 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.  But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, …. For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

3. The Seventh Day Adventists say that there is a difference between the moral law and the ceremonial law, but the bible shows that there is no difference between the moral and ceremonial law. 
Leviticus 19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God. 
Ezekiel 20:20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the LORD your God.

4. The Seventh Day Adventists say that the Sabbath Law is for us now, but Judaism was settled in Acts 15. 
Acts 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: 
Question: Do we as Christians have to keep the law? Answer: Can you read the above, “no such commandment”.

Acts 15:28-29 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well. 
Question: Where is keeping the Sabbath in that verse? Answer: It ain’t there!

5. The main problem with the Seventh Day Adventists is that they are a religion of works and grace, but you can't have it both ways. If anyone is counting on the law, the Sabbath or any of the others to justify him, in part or whole, he or she is NOT saved. 
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. 
Galatians 5:4  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

If you are reading this and you are a Seventh Day Adventists, examine yourself to see exactly what you are trusting in. Biblical salvation in you seeing yourself a lost sinner and completely trusting in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you. He certainly didn't suffer and shed his blood for you to think that you could trust him and the law to save you or keep you saved. 
Ephesians 2:8-9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
